THE GIRL FROM MONACO is aimed to please. You can’t keep your eyes off of this sexy movie. Tempting, voluptuous, and you may try to resist but soon enough Hottie Louise Bourgoin would have you… down at your knees. An entertaining yet profound mix of drama, comedy and bromance. Add to myYahoo!Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen took in an estimated $17.8 million Friday, beating both of this week's new wide releases on the first day of the hotly contested 4th of July weekend.
It's battling Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs for the top spot. Ice Age earned $17 million Friday.
Public Enemies appears likely to finish third. It earned $10.1 million Friday, according to figures published by Box Office Mojo.
The Proposal and The Hangover are still hanging in there, several weeks after opening, coming in 4th and 5th with $5.1 million and $4.5 million respectively.
Ice Age and Public Enemies both opened Wednesday. Ice Age led on Wednesday with $13.8 million, followed by Transformers with $10.9 million. Public Enemies came in third with $8.1 million. It's a respectable showing for the crime drama, which targets adult audiences rather than the youngsters who make up the majority of ticket buyers.

Add to myYahoo! Some new promo photos from Tim Burton?s ?Alice in Wonderland? has been revealed. Check out also already seen but now Hi-Res photos of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Mia Wasikowska as Alice and Tweedledee and Tweedledum. As always, click on any of the images to enlarge.
Tweedledee and Tweedledum are among the first characters to greet Alice. The twins are played by British comic Matt Lucas. They take her to meet the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). Michael Sheen plays the White Rabbit, Alan Rickman - Caterpillar, Christopher Lee - Jabberwock, Stephen Fry - Cheshire Cat and Crispin Glover stars as The Knave of Hearts.
Burton?s Alice is almost like a sequel to the original Lewis Carroll?s story:
The traditional tale has been freshened with a blast of girl power, courtesy of writer Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast). Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn?t remember.
?Alice in Wonderland? directed by Tim Burton from the script by Linda Woolverton is scheduled to hit theaters on March 5th, 2010 in both Disney Digital 3D as well as regular 2D.

Add to myYahoo! The first trailer for Jim Sheridan’s new movie “Brothers” has finally showed up even though it’s already showing in theaters in front of “Public Enemies.”
Oscar nominated filmmaker Jim Sheridan (?In America,? ?My Left Foot,? ?In the Name of the Father,? ?The Boxer,? ?Get Rich or Die Tryin?”) directed the movie from the script written by David Benioff.
Actually “Brothers” is a U.S. remake of Susanne Bier’s 2004 Danish film, “Brodre” a film that won and was nominated for several international awards both for the film itself and performances from Connie Nielsen and Ulrich Thomsen.
A young man Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal) comforts his older brother’s wife Grace (Natalie Portman) and children after her husband (Tobey Maguire) goes missing in Afghanistan. While the two are still dealing with the intricate situation, Sam (Tobey Maguire) returns home. Carrying the heavy weight of post traumatic stress disorder, he starts suspecting that something happened between his wife and brother when he was away.
“Brothers” stars Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman, Ray Prewitt and will be released on December 4th, 2009.
