Only two more weeks before Heather Locklear returns to save us from this dreadful show. As always, we have some predictions on how it might work.
We looked into our Melrose Place Crystal Ball (patent pending) and saw the future of the show. Here it goes:

Add to myYahoo! With their now expected levels of secrecy and sneakiness, it seems that JJ Abrams and Bad Robot are already deep into bringing a mysterious movie called 500 Rads to the screen. At least that's if it will be called 500 Rads and this isn't just some kind of hazy-fantazy codename. The leaked information so far pegs the film at a sweet little $25 million budget and alleges that production will take place in Europe. The story was apparently formulated by Abrams who handed it off to Jeff Pinkner to write the screenplay, and now it seems that some other scribes from the Bad Robot mafia will be taking a pass too while Pinker gets busy at the Fringe again.Seeing as their source has told them to expect 500 Rads to fall in the vein of both Cloverfield and 28 Days Later, and because they've researched enough to find out that Rads ...

Add to myYahoo!Sherlock Holmes has arrived with another new trailer, I'm starting to wonder just how many cuts there are of this trailer, because here we are again with more similar footage and more new clips. I wonder if we're going to keep seeing new cuts while new footage is completed. Sherlock Holmes is Guy Ritchie's attempt to revisit the classic character with the original writing of Arthur Conan Doyle in mind, and it stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as Holmes and Watson respectively....Visit Filmstalker for the full story. Add to myYahoo!Update: An official domestic teaser trailer has been released online, and is now embedded after the jump. The original story follows. We've seen a few photos of Angelina Jolie in character for her lead role in Salt, the political action thriller that was rewritten for the actress when Tom Cruise bailed on the role. Now there's an international trailer, straight from Russia. First thought: man, they really do some great lip-matching work when dubbing movies over there! Check the Russian trailer after the jump.Yeah, so this trailer is entirely in Russian, a language that keeps me at bay in the same way that an Insane Clown Posse shirt wards off attractive women, so I can't do much to recap what's going on here. It looks like a slick thriller -- more in the vein of the older Jack Ryan movies than Bourne-influenced shaky-cam stuff, and I'm fine with that. And really, ...

Add to myYahoo! There have been many filmed versions of the collection of folk stories and other tales called the One Thousand and One Nights, better known in the US as the Arabian Nights. Now we can add one more to the pile.Who's directing? That would be Chuck Russell, a man whose films span a broad range of quality: A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 (fairly awesome), The Blob remake (great stuff), The Mask (starting to worry) and The Scorpion King (uh-oh). Where's this Arabian Nights going to fall on his best to worst list?Variety reports that Russell has co-written the picture with Barry P. Ambrose. Budgeted at $70m, the film is planned to start next spring. The angle is that the story offers 'a new spin,' which is often code for 'we've slapped familiar names on some stuff we made up over beers.'Indeed, the trade says the film "follows a young commander ...

Add to myYahoo! The movie about how Harvard students Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin started Facebook — called The Social Network — is shooting at Johns Hopkins University today, All Facebook reports.
Actors Jesse Eisenberg (Zuckerberg) and Andrew Garfield (Saverin), as well as director David Fincher were on the scene.
So were Twitter users Mary Spiro and Raluca Musaloiu, who stopped to take some photos.
Hm. Kind of looks like Harvard
Jesse Eisenberg (center) is playing Mark Zuckerberg
Andrew Garfield (left) plays forgotten Facebook cofounder Eduardo Saverin
Mark Zuckerberg built Facebook in fall 2004, so the fall weather is historically accurate
Actual Johns Hopkins students woke to a funny site out their dorm windows
The guy on the right is probably director David Fincher, who also made Fight Club
Where Justin Timberlake? He plays Facebook's first president, Sean Parker, who wouldn't appear in scenes taking place at Harvard
